 Why We’re Considering a Basketball Court for Our Media Project


One of the locations we’re exploring for our media project is a basketball court. This choice stands out due to its unique visual appeal and thematic relevance.


A basketball court offers an open, dynamic setting that feels alive with energy. The bold lines, hoops, and overall structure create a modern, urban aesthetic that complements the tone of our project. It’s a space that naturally encourages movement, competition, and teamwork—all themes we can creatively integrate into our scenes.


Additionally, the court’s expansive layout provides flexibility for framing shots and staging action. Whether it’s a dramatic confrontation or a casual interaction, the court’s design offers ample opportunities to experiment with different angles and compositions, ensuring visually engaging results.


Beyond its practicality, the basketball court also carries symbolic weight. It’s a place of passion, perseverance, and community—a perfect backdrop for a story that aims to connect with its audience on an emotional level.


We believe the basketball court’s energy and visual elements will enhance the overall impact of our project, making it a strong contender for our final location choice.

 Note on Camera Angles for Our Short Horror Film Objective: In our short horror film, we will employ a range of camera angles to enhance the storytelling and create a chilling atmosphere. Each angle will help shape the audience's perception and emotional response, contributing to the overall horror experience. Planned Camera Angles: 1. High Angle: Purpose: To shoot from above the subject, looking down. Effect: This angle makes characters appear vulnerable or powerless, enhancing feelings of fear and helplessness, especially in critical moments of danger. 2. Low Angle: Purpose: To shoot from below the subject, looking up. Effect: This angle can make characters seem larger, more menacing, or more powerful, heightening tension and creating an intimidating presence for antagonists. 3.
