Colour grading practice

 Color Grading Practice Update

Today, I focused on color grading as part of my video editing practice. I experimented with different color correction techniques to enhance the visual mood and atmosphere of the footage. My main goal was to adjust the contrast, highlights, and shadows to give the video a polished and cinematic look.

I worked on fine-tuning the white balance to ensure that the colors looked natural and consistent across different shots. I also played with different color schemes to convey various emotions—cool tones for a calm, somber feel, and warmer tones to add energy and vibrance to the scene.

Additionally, I practiced using LUTs (Look-Up Tables) to apply creative color effects that enhanced the visual storytelling. This allowed me to experiment with different styles and get a better sense of how color grading can set the overall tone of the video.

This session was a great learning experience. I gained a deeper understanding of how color grading can elevate the visual quality of a project and add more depth to the narrative. I’m excited to apply these techniques to the upcoming media project and continue refining my skills.
