Colour emotions
Application in our Short Horror Film: For your horror film, consider using the following color palette to enhance the emotional impact:
1. Dominant Color: Red
Use red in critical scenes to evoke fear and highlight moments of violence or danger. This can be through lighting, props, or costumes.
2. Supporting Color: Black
Employ black to create shadows and a sense of foreboding. Dark settings can amplify tension and create an atmosphere of uncertainty.
3. Accent Color: Green
Incorporate green in scenes that depict decay or the supernatural, such as eerie lighting or backgrounds that suggest something unnatural.
4. Subtle Touches of Blue
Use blue tones in scenes to evoke isolation or sadness, especially in moments where characters experience despair or dread.
5. Hints of Yellow
Implement yellow sparingly to suggest anxiety or a sense of warning, creating an unsettling feeling in specific scenes.
